DUTIES
1. Business development
•
Strategic Agent Development: Identify, onboard, and develop long-term partnerships with strategic overseas agents to enhance trade lane efficiency and expand global reach.
•
Sales & Business Growth: Build sales strategies to drive sales by securing freight volumes through international agent networks, leveraging company’s value, advantage/sales skills/customer’s relationship…in order to meet sales target
•
Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key strategic agents, ensuring mutual business growth and operational efficiency.
•
Market Research & Strategy: Analyze global market trends, trade lane opportunities, and agent performance to refine business development strategies.
•
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate freight rates, service agreements, and partnership terms with overseas agents to secure competitive advantages.
2. Ensure services quality
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service execution with overseas partners.
• Performance Monitoring: Track agent performance through KPIs, ensuring service quality, reliability, and compliance with international regulations.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all transactions comply with international shipping regulations, contracts, and corporate policies.
3. Reporting:
•
Prepare sales performance reports, agent evaluation insights, and revenue forecasts for management review.
•

REQUIRED
•
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
•
Minimum 3 years in sales/business development in international freight forwarding, with a focus on agent network management.
•
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, and supply chain solutions.
•
Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to close deals, manage strategic partnerships, and increase revenue through agent networks.
•
Network & Connections: Established relationships with overseas freight agents, carriers, and logistics partners.
•
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, freight management systems and Microsoft Office
•
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English/Chinese
•
Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel internationally to meet with strategic agents and attend industry events.
